Last month I was working from home and had some free time on
my hands, when I realized how dirty windows in front my patio were. I felt
disgusted with myself, how did I let that happen, huh. Anyways my OCD kicked in
and I decided to clean those huge windows myself, after all I am a strong
independent young woman who can accomplish anything. I mean how difficult window
cleaning in Orange Park can be? Right?
So I grabbed a ladder from garage and took window cleaning
spray and a wash cloth and got to work. As soon as I climbed first step on that
ladder my body told me, “This work is not for you chubby”, I ignored it of
course. I had to climb 4 steps before I could reach lowest point on patio
windows. “I am
doing it, so easy” I thought to myself, I sprayed the cleaner on
the glass and extended my arm to clean up, when the ladder decided to slip away
under my feet (well it was mostly my weight that caused the accident but, sure,
lets blame it on the ladder) and it made me fall onto the ground. Next I thing
I know, I’m in ER where doctor told me I had dislocated my ankle.
This incident made me realize some things about window cleaning in Orange Park:
Fitness and core strength:
To clean windows on higher floors you require a certain level
of fitness and core strength, without that if you try to clean your windows,
you will probably end up in ER just like me. Not everyone has that level of
strength, especially with that sedentary lifestyle that we have. Professional
cleaning services have crew/workers that have training and required strength for
the task.
Equipment:
On higher floors, you need special safety and cleaning
equipment without which (again not to mention) you’ll end up in ER, and you
don’t want that. So get a professional to clean your windows.
Bleach:
Fumes from regular bleach can be so harmful, and dangerous
for the material as well. Professional cleaners use eco-friendly cleaners that
are safer for your health and for you windows as well.
The end product:
Even when you succeed in cleaning your windows yourself,
there is no way you can achieve the same results as a professional. There will
still be marks and lines, and your efforts will be kinda wasted.
